Great time to play our best game of the season especially against the Redbirds! LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE shooting with confidence. LUQQQQQQQQMAN playing like the leader we've been lacking this year. What was great to see was that we didn't panic when ISU made their comeback and was able to take care of business. Hopefully we keep seeing this kind of effort moving forward. No one in the topsy, turvy Mo Valley is unbeatable so if we keep doing this, worst to finishing in the top 3 is a possibility. Go get dem Bears in Springfield on Saturday boys!

Just got done watching the recording (had to work tonight), was very happy with the outcome. What impressed me most was that everyone who entered the game contributed in the outcome one way or another. This is the Luuk I envisioned before the start of the season, and Lundy is really becoming a spark on both ends of the court. Great win tonight over a rival and setting the tone for the Valley that the Braves are back!

Bradley's 85 points is the most points Bradley has scored in an MVC game since Jim Les' final season. Feb. 26, 2011, Bradley beat Drake 90-64 in the final game of the 2010-11 regular season.

That is amazing. That was a good win. Hopefully, the team can win at MO State on Saturday and continue winning. To win a couple, then lose a couple would prolong the frustrations fans have.

That's the Bradley team I was expecting to see this year! Looks like they may have their Mojo working now. Keep it up.

I have been advocating for more time for Henry, and last night he showed why. He has that athleticism and nose for the basket we lack from other players. Now I hope Boya can put things together. He has looked lost on both ends at time, but he is only a Freshman. Hitting shots was big in this one, and will be important going forward. Hopefully this is part of the turnaround.

                I love watching Ja'Shon Henry!
Big broad shoulders, he gives you full effort, can jump out of the gym, holds onto the ball even when encountering contact, knows how to use the backboard and gets his shot off in traffic against bigger defenders..
He doesn't fumble the ball every time he touches it, he values possession, looks to score and finishes strong at the rim...I hope we see him more
He reminds me a little of Northern Iowa's Eric Coleman (a few years ago for you youngsters) - who was only 6-6 but was almost unstoppable down low -

Now, this is what I'm talking about!! Looks like the Braves have come out of the funk they've been in. Great shooting from 2- and 3-point range. This is the team that we were expecting all throughout the off-season. Now, to carry on and be consistent during the remainder of the season.
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

                    On the ISU fan Board:

pregame Consensus: “I don’t see us losing.” “We just have so much more talent than Bradley does” “The only player position they have that might be better than us is Darryl Brown, but he’s meh”

Postgame: “We are terrible”. We are not even close to being good”. “We’d lose to illinois by 30 ten times in a row if we played them, anytime, anywhere” “Fire DM, he’s worthless, has to go” “Phil Fayne isn’t tough enough for this league”

Truth of the matter is Bradley isn’t as good as they played last night, and ISU Isn’t 17 points worse thanBradley.

As frustrating as it is it just boils down to inconsistency, mental mistakes... and unless u have overwhelming talent the margin for error is so small, and it results in looking great one night and awful the other.

Honestly, ISU is lucky they have an offensive talent like Yarborough, he can't hide, IMO, how weak the rest of that roster really is... without him they would struggle tremendously.

I know Bradley has their problems but at least I do not see intense jealousy and shot-hogging like we see with the Redbirds....
ISU does not play a team game - they have a handful of players selfishly looking to jack up a shot before someone else takes one or loses possession - everyone's "try to get theirs"...

-you got Matt Hein jacking up corner 3's when he hits a miserable 15% from there - but not just that - he even tried to drive the lane a couple times - adding a bit of comedy to a good game
-but you also have Zach Copeland trying to salvage whatever hope is left of trying to claim to be a shooter when he launches 3's while he's just 2-11!!
-but the guys who are seniors all have an entitlement attitude that it oughta be their turn to score - so Yarbrough, Evans & Fayne took 37 shots between them yet averaged just ONE assist each!
-then Tinsley - the 4th senior whose playing time is shrinking faster than Dan Muller's fan support, jacks up shots at a 20% success rate

I don't disagree that there offense is not good. However, with how the game was being officiated especially in the second half Yarbrough could have scored a bunch more if he took every shot. He just backed DLO or Childs down and score over them. I was very impressed with his offensive game last night (1st time I have watched him this year). It's too bad he is not more committed to basketball because he should easily be the player of the year in the Valley. He has good size, and is a mismatch in this league. I really liked him coming out of HS, but unfortunately for him I don't think he focuses his life on the right things.

Ditto what Tornado says about Ja'Shon. I hope to see him get more and more playing time.

Great win last night, and great fun to be at Carver! As others have said, last night was what I expected to see all year.

I also really like Henry. I think he is going to be a special player. I also want to give kudos to Lundy. He started the year pretty far down the bench but you never heard him complain. He stayed the course and now contributes in the games. I thought he had a really good game last night especially in the 2nd half.

Adebayo Akinkunle averaged 2 ppg, 1 rpg as a freshman - maybe Ja'Shon can do for BU what Bayo did
