If what I've heard is true about the players not listening to Wardle during the last month then it's beyond time for him to hold the guys accountable. I hope that has been done during the last 2 days and that the message has gotten through to the team because if it hasn't then it'll just be more of the same. Execute on both ends guys and get a W in Carbondale.

BU still not shooting well (19-54, 35.2%), but a good defensive effort to hold SIU to only 54 points, their lowest output in MVC play.

BU started a small lineup without Koch Bar or Ari Boya.
Boya, Hodgson, and Pittman did not play at all.

Woo! My family and I were going ballistic in the last 2-3 min! That was fun.

Dave Reynold's prediction in the Journal Star was: SIU 68, Bradley 56. His record of prediction is now 10-9, slightly better than coin flips. He predicted that BU would lose both games in Cancun (me too) and predicted that we would beat UIC, Eastern Ill, and several others that we lost. It is hard to figure out this team. Hopefully, the attendance will improve for Wednesday night vs ISU red

we can't keep scoring in the 20's per half and expect to win many games -

This article by the AP is atrocious, they misspell players names and worst of all they say that we're in the OVC multiple times.

Like nearly all of the AP game summary articles that appear on ESPN, that was generated by a computer bot program using the stats and play-by-play feed. Hard to figure how they misspelled Luqman Lundy's name, or report that BU & SIU are in the Ohio Valley conference. Must be some inept programming by the AP.

Good come back there in the second half. I think coach finally figured out who to play this season. I really liked the Luuk and Childs combo. Childs needs to be close to the rim to score and with either Kock or Ari in there he is forced elsewhere. Luqman has been quite the surprise, he really plays with a lot of intensity and should be a starter going forward. Shooting still needs to improve but good to have one win to get some confidence back.

Was it my imagination or did Bradley try to push the ball more instead of walking it down the court?

First off congrats to team for getting that first MO Valley W! Hopefully the first of many. They did show a little bit more of a sense of urgency on offense and your 2 best offensive players, DB and Eli, came through on that end in crunch time. Defensively we held them to just 12 points in the last 11 minutes of the game. That's the defense we saw earlier this season. Not sure if we have what it takes to beat ISU on Wednesday but I like our chances a little better. Go get em guys!
