  • Well, this is interesting...

On November 14, 2018 Bradley officially announces that Memphis East HS's Antonio Thomas signs his Letter of Intent
"The Bradley men's basketball program welcomed four players to the team during the first day of the early signing period on Wednesday
with Stephan Gabriel (Irvington, N.J.), JaMir Price (Rock Island, Ill.), Ville Tahvanainen (Helsinki, Finland) and Antonio Thomas (Memphis, Tenn.)
all signing National Letters of Intent."

But yesterday, Memphis sports reporter states:
"Just spoke to Memphis East senior point guard Antonio Thomas.
He didn’t sign his LOI to Bradley during the early signing period,
but plans on signing it during the late signing period."

More transparancy from our coaching staff!! Why didn't they keep fans informed re: what is going on?

I hope this was not an infraction. I believe if a coach comments at all about a commitment before a LOI it is impermissible.

It's obvious we have conflicting reports but I am sure the people at Bradley BELIEVE they have Thomas' signed Letter of Intent - or they would have never released the statement about him
.....I am far more likely to believe the guy making the Twitter comment is going on erroneous information.

That was my thought too when I saw this because I can't believe Compliance would have let the post stay up if not.

I agree - and thus far there's no further comment anywhere by anyone else (except a few people on another board discovered the link here)
