The Crusaders are 9-6 overall, and 5-2 at home, and are co-leaders in the MVC at 2-0 after a home win against Illinois State and their road win Saturday at Missouri State.

Valpo is coming off a 82-66 win at Missouri State, but the game was a blowout from very early in the first half. Valpo lead by 22 at halftime and stretched their lead to 25 early in the 2nd half. Then they played mostly reserves the rest of the way, allowing MSU to close the margin to 16. Most of Valpo's starters played less than 20 minutes.
They have 5 players who average double figures, lead by junior Ryan Fazekas, a 6'7" transfer from Providence, who is also their best 3-point shooter at 43.5%.
