-from 1993-2010 the MVC used a point system as a tiebreaker to determine MVC Tourney seeds which awarded more points to teams that beat the top finishers
-then from 2011-2015 the tiebreaker was the teams' non-conference STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
-then from 2016-2018 the tiebreaker has been RPI
-NOW, starting in 2019, the MVC will use the new NCAA metric, the NET as the 2nd tiebreaker
