Holy Cow !!!! - The Braves women's team are 10 - 1 and the Valley season starts January 4th and all their games are on some ESPN channel... Woo-hoo.... I am going to have to follow this team. These Braves were picked to be "Sixth" in the Valley preseason poll ... They open at home Friday January 4th against Drake (picked number 1 in the preseason poll) - 6 pm CST game on ESPN+ ... Local Bradley area fans and students - Let's "FILL" the Renaissance Coliseum. And LADY BRAVES - Let's make some noise in the Valley - BEAT DRAKE and finish a lot better than 6th .... GO LADY BRAVES ... extremely impressive so far ... Andrea Gorski is heading for "Coach of the Year":... I have this game on my calendar.... Tornado - thank you for bringing to light what these Lady Braves are achieving. - I would never have known.

Coach Gorski has done a great job working this group into a team that passes well, gets great shots, and defends well...
their only loss was a long road trip to Purdue but they still showed heart in outscoring Purdue by 10 in the 2nd half

This team is a lot of fun to watch. They also held Purdue to just 22 points in the 2nd half.

I've seen Katie play since 6th grade and she can play big inside and go outside. Very capable 3 point shooter as well. I hope by starting this early that she might be able to get her as we have missed out on almost everyone of the D1 girls from this area. Good Luck Coach Gorski

Near upset - Indiana State WBB led essentially the whole gamevs. Drake - then Drake caught some breaks and drained 4 FT's in the final 35 seconds - to take a 70-68 lead
Then a desperation 3 was way short but as the Sycamores went for the rebound - they were fouled with 0.3 seconds left. But sadly- the Lady Sycs missed the FTs so Drake's 2-year unbeaten streak in the MVC survives.

Bradley women just beat ISU again to sweep the season series (just like the men did)

                              Bradley 75 - ISU 65
                              Balanced scoring - Petree 16, Brackman 14 pts & 15 rebs, Haack & Kent with 10 each
Bradley holds ISU's star Tete Maggett to just 5-18 & forced 19 turnovers
