I was only able to watch the 2nd half and OT on replay.

30 turnovers from a senior/junior dominated team is stunning to me. So many telegraphed passes I was shocked. Scares me a bit to think about what a long athletic team would do to Bradley's offense.
Boya did look better on the offensive end, but was out of position a lot on defense. That will come with time. He's definitely showing the potential and I like his motor and attitude a lot.
Not sure Bradley has a go-to person down the stretch. Who should have the ball in their hands when the game is on the line. I don't see it in Brown.
Donte Thomas (one of my favorite Braves ever) and his leadership from last year is really missed. I'm struggling finding a leader on this team.
I really don't like Coach's substitution patterns. It's almost like the players are playing scared of being pulled.

The raw talent is there. Just need to figure out how to play like a team.

Cheering with pep and vim for the white and purple!

you must not have seen the New Mexico game where they pressured us a little and put a 41-21 run on us to close out the 1st half

I honestly didn't think this was going to be as big of a deal as it seams to be. I thought there were plenty of players to step in and lead. Someone needs to step up and take charge. This team seems to be lacking its soul. What once looked liked a very promising season is now becoming a very frustrating one. I hope Brummett didn't do anything to severe, but those are the distractions good teams don't have.

Our point guard does not know how to lead a team. He should be the QB and he just isn't. Also, he desires too much to be the hero. Againt better teams he doesn't do as well as an individual.

The season has a long way to go but, right now we are not a very good basketball team. Losses to UIC, IUPUI, Eastern Illinois and Georgia Southern are not the characteristics of a good basketball team. I've been sitting back, watching, listening and quite frankly am finding it more and more difficult to get excited about upcoming games. The Valley is woefully weak and I'm not convinced any of the teams we've lost to could win the league if they were in it. I don't know what the answer is and apparently nobody else does. Look in the sports page of the Journal Star, what's left of it, and check out the scores and scorers of Bradley games in the 50 Years Ago and 40 Years Ago columns. Those teams scored more points against better teams, without a shot clock (teams would often stall on offense), a 3 point field goal or a timeout every 4 minutes when players could get a drink and catch their breath. There were players that would consistently score in the high 20s to 30s with double digit rebounds. Today we celebrate if a player scores 20 in a game. Bradley teams and opponents would full-court press for much of the game, have very few turnovers, have better fundamentals and make fewer mental mistakes. The last I saw, the Valley was rated around the 12th best in the country. If the league is the 12th best and we can't walk away with winning the league, well, that speaks for itself. Something has happened to the game and it isn't good. The future is now.
