Do we think he might be ready for the first week of Jan? That’s the first Valley road trip and if we are going to win the championship a couple roadies here would set the tone. Winning the MVC championship would help me get over losing In Peoria. STOP losing at home! I’d like him to have a game under his belt before but I’d also liked to have him all season so far and earn a extra yr of eligibility lol . It is what it is. Still a lot of fun and exciting Bradley Hoops ahead. Here’s to a long run in the NIT at worst. #MadisonSquareGardenorbetter.

I'm really excited to see Ari play, though I'm not sure what to expect given his inexperience and length of time with injury. My guess is he begins as a back up for Koch, allowing Eli and Luuk to stay more in their forward positions.

While he may have been a difference-maker in the losses against UIC and IUPUI, I'm not sure having Ari would have mattered against New Mexico and their frenetic style of play.

It will be tough for him to come back right into conference season. But like I said, it will be exciting when he does. And we need to rebuild the excitement after the two disappointing losses.

I have no current info other than hearing a couple weeks ago that Ari is doing well, and progressing as expected. The fact that he has had the walking boot off for the past week is a great sign that there have not been any unexpected setbacks. So hopefully, the outlook is what was stated initially, that he would be out 10-12 weeks.
The injury occurred Wednesday, October 10 at a practice. So it has not been 8 weeks yet.

10 weeks would bring him back right before the Saturday, Dec. 22 home game against Southeastern Louisiana. 12 weeks would bring him back for the first MVC game on Wednesday, January 2.
Though Ari has been working out in non-weight bearing exercises, he will take some time once he is cleared to practice at full strength to get back into 100% game condition.
