  • Final score: Bradley 68 Arkansas Little Rock 62

Bradley is now 6-3 and have lost their last 2 games at IUPUI and against New Mexico. The next game is a road game at Little Rock on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6:30 PM Central. Like a number of state schools, they have renamed their athletic teams the Little Rock Trojans, though the school is still named University of Arkansas at Little Rock. They also have officially adopted the alternate name UA Little Rock, formerly UALR.
They are members of the Sun Belt Conference. They are 4-4 so far, and their wins are not very impressive. Their RPI is 271.

The game is not available on ESPN3.com or ESPN+. It is only available on the Little Rock All Access-

It is subscription pay-per-view only. However, they have a 24-hour subscription option for $5.95 that does not automatically renew, so the cost if anyone wants to watch is not bad.

Their leading scorer Rayjon Tucker, a 6'5" redshirt junior in his first season of play for Little Rock after transferring from Florida Gulf Coast and sitting out last season. He is averaging 20.7 ppg and he is shooting 45.2% from three. He is also their top rebounder averaging 6.6 rpg.
They have had some recent injury problems. Their starting point guard and second leading scorer 5'8" freshman Markquis Nowell (12.0 ppg & 4.3 apg) missed the last 2 games due to a sprained ankle. 3rd leading scorer 6'2" junior Deondre Burns (10.6 ppg & 40.0% from three) has missed their last 3 games due to an ankle injury. And another of their key players, 6'8" sophomore Damir Hadzic has not played a game yet this season due to a wrist injury. Damir Hadzic was a teammate of Koch Bar at Arlington Country day school in Florida, and Bradley offered him a scholarship-

After the last 2 games - I am sure that every Bradley fan will be interested in the level of Bradley's intensity, focus, shooting accuracy, etc. - from the first tip off and throughout the game - and due to the lack of tv coverage we'll be relying on Dave Snell's WMBD's coverage. GO BRAVES !!!

There is one thing I would hope the Bradley Athletic Department and basketball people would consider the next time they schedule home and home series with mid-major schools like Arkansas-Little Rock. Because so many Bradley fans are used to being able to watch the games on ESPN3 or ESPN+, Bradley need to negotiate a clause in the contract that puts the game on one of the ESPN formats to allow Bradley fans to watch without an extra subscription fee. It seems like a money grab for Arkansas-Little Rock to only make the game available via their own greedy pay-per-view platform. Bradley fans who want to watch many of the Braves' games already have subscribed to ESPN+, and now have to fork out another $5.95 to watch this game. Anyone else think so? I have to believe they would have agreed to allow the game to go on ESPN3 if Bradley insisted on it as part of their agreement to play there.

By the way, Little Rock's $5.95 subscription price is only for this one single game. Seems like a bit of a ripoff since the ESPN+ subscription price is only $4.99 for an entire month of content that includes literally thousands of basketball games and other events each month!

I think it’s going to be a lot of fun to watch and worth every penny. Child’s and Bar should have a hay day. Play our game and get back on track. Braves by 18.

          Bradley pregame article-
          https://bradleybraves.com/news/2018/...ttle-rock.aspx

          Worthy of note-
Darrell Brown, who scored 20 points in Bradley's last game against New Mexico, now has 984 career points at Bradley and already ranks 51st on the all-time Bradley scoring list. With 16 points at Little Rock, he could become the 47th Brave to reach the 1000 point mark.
Brown's scoring average has risen to 15.1 ppg after 9 games this season, and he now is Bradley's leading scorer, and ranks 7th in the MVC in scoring-
          http://www.espn.com/mens-college-bas...ype/2/group/18

Darrell Brown also was Bradley's leading scorer his freshman and sophomore seasons, so if he ends up being Bradley's leading scorer this year, he will have the opportunity to lead the team in scoring all 4 years at Bradley. That is something only 2 other Braves have done in the 115 years of Bradley basketball- Mitchell Anderson (1978-79, 1979-80, 1980-81, & 1981-82) and Paul Unruh (1946-47, 1947-48, 1948-49, & 1949-50).
Note: 2 other Bradley greats might have been able to accomplish that feat if they had not played during a time when freshmen were not eligible- Chet Walker lead BU in scoring his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons (1959-60, 1960-61, & 1961-62) and Joe Allen lead BU in scoring his sophomore, junior, and senior seasons (1965-66, 1966-67, & 1967-6, but both only got to play 3 varsity seasons because freshmen were not eligible in their era. Both of them lead their freshman teams in scoring average, although Joe Allen only played in 2 of 15 games his frosh season in 1964-65 because of his knee injury.

That is true. It was mentioned in the BradleyBraves.com pregame article-
The Bradley basketball team is back in action on Tuesday, hitting the road and playing at Little Rock. The Braves are Trojans are set to battle with a 6:30 p.m. tipoff in Arkansas.

Did anyone have a good experience with the Little Rock pay-per-view video? Mine stalled at the 15:48 mark of the 2nd half at the first media timeout, and I never was able to get it to restart. So I have not watched anything after the early point of the 2nd half.
I have already sent a complaint and asked for a refund.
If anyone experienced video problems, I suggest you do the same.
Here is the site to send a complaint (click the FAQ/Contact Support tab, then scroll to the bottom)-

I had the exact same problem as you did Da Coach. It stalled at the exact same point in the game as what you said. I have also sent them an email asking for a refund. Not holding my breath on this one though.

What a bizarre game. Bradley played about as bad as they could for the first 15 minutes and trailed by as much as 13 points late in the first half. But then Luqman Lundy sparked a rally with 4 quick points and a couple steals to outscore Little Rock 14-7 to close out the first half. Bradley trailed 27-21 at halftime. Bradley's leading scorer, Darrell Brown, had 0 points in the first half, nobody had more than 4 points, and Bradley shot only 19% from the field in the first half. Elijah Childs, Bradley's second leading scorer had just 2 points and 2 rebounds in the first half.
But then Brown, Childs, and DLO came alive in the second half. Brown had 18 second half points, and Bradley scored 47 second half points, while holding Little Rock to 35 points.
                              Stats- http://stats.statbroadcast.com/broadcast/?id=224657

Bradley is now 7-3. The next game is not until Saturday, Dec. 15 at home against Eastern Illinois.
