Loyola sophomore guard Lucas Williamson is averaging 8.9 ppg, a team-leading 7.1 rpg, and 38% from three point range. He is also one of their top assist guys and perhaps their best defender. Unfortunately, he broke his hand in Tuesday night's game against Nevada. He will be out until some time in January.

Loyola loses starter to injury

ISU likewise lost a player-
reserve Matt Chastain rolled his ankle and left the game but was unable to return...
ISU then had 3 guys foul out and had to pull their last sub off the bench headed into overtime - who hadn't even played yet in the game..
At that point in OT they had only five players left, zero subs and Phil Fayne had 4 fouls...so they were one bad call away from having to finish the game with 4 players.
They were very lucky to pull out a win - they are not a deep team despite what some keep saying...
