One more bit of coaching news-
Stetson is planning to hire Donnie Jones, who is currently an assistant at Dayton, and formerly was an assistant at Wichita State. He was also the former head coach at Central Florida from 2010-2016.
He has been accused of some sleazy recruiting violations when he was head coach at UCF.-

Donnie Jones also seems to be hiding something on the Fred Van Vleet payoff scandal at Wichita State

South Dakota State takes only a few hours to hire their new head coach. They promote 3-year assistant coach Eric Henderson to fill their open head coaching position.
Eric Henderson, who served as an assistant coach for the South Dakota State University men’s basketball team the past three seasons, has been promoted to head coach, Director of Athletics Justin Sell announced Wednesday evening. “Eric has been a big part of the success that we have had at South Dakota State,” Sell said. “HisContinue Reading →

Interesting....We know now that the coaching search in 2011 dragged on and on because of ineptitude, and meddling by the President, as well as multiple candidates turning down Bradley's offers. However, we were told it was because they needed to do a thorough coaching search, and that they were required by the Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to post notices advertising the open position for 2 weeks and to consider minority candidates. Yet we've seen numerous cases where schools complete their hiring within a day or two. Just another example of dishonesty from that group.

                        A couple new hires-

Former Bradley assistant, and son of legendary Michigan head coach John Beilein, Patrick Beilein was hired by Niagara to be their next head coach.
Patrick Beilein, who has been coaching Division-II Le Moyne College since 2015 and has taken the Dolphins to three NCAA tournaments, has been hired as the new coach at Niagara.

And St. Joseph's will hire Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Billy Lange as their new head coach.

No mention in the ESPN article that Beilein was an assistant at Bradley.
My first BU hoops game was on 12/30/1963. My dad took me to watch the Braves defeat Arizona 67-59. He helped me get Coach Orsborn's autograph before the game.

One other coaching hire- Former Bradley player and assistant coach under Jim Molinari, Duane Broussard was an assistant under Steve Alford at New Mexico, and more recently at UCLA. He lost his job earlier this past season when UCLA fired Alford.
Broussard was just hired as an assistant coach under Jamie Dixon at Texas Christian University.
