You really can't quanify someones perception as its based on a multitude of factors/reasons.
DRU - I understand what you are saying.

I was trying to illustrate that perception is not reality.... yet maybe a close relationship may exist if based on (more) facts and info.

Illini perception (toward Bradley) has less facts/info supporting their claim in this scenario than the Bradley perception (toward EIU).

I understand what you are trying to say MM but you're trying to convince me that peoples perception can be better or worse based on facts. I disagree. Peoples perception isn't always a rational conception or thought. Perceptions are seldom based in reality.

Micheal Vick has the perception its OK to support Dog fighting. Some have the perception its ok to hit their wives.....

I'm done because I don't care what the orange crushes perception is of BU...

So can we agree that some have better perceptions than others when it comes to comparing their perceptions to reality?

With that, I think Illini fans generally have a worse perception compared to Bradley fans when it comes to this perceived level of status we have been discussing.

So finally, I am done too... I don't care what the Orange Crush's perception of BU is because I believe they have a bad perception of college hoops - period.

If you think the Illini fans are upset now...wait till BU actually gets the VERBAL form Iman....wow....I can't even imagine.....

But I agree....who cares what the Illini fans think of BU. Let"s take care of "our own house" and everything else is just details.

Now I am gonna swing this conversation another direction....

IF Bradley were to get a verbal from Iman, you can almost guarantee Illini Nation demanding the NCAA do an investigation into Bradley recruiting.

Probably not because once he did that he'd only be a 2-3 star recruit. Heaven forbid he sign with a Mid Major!! His talent would surely evaporate.

I seem to remember Kansas demanding an NCAA investigation of Wichita State and their recruitment of Maurice Evans after Maurice made his decision to attend Wichita State.
