  • POB mention in yahoo article.

LAS VEGAS – Kevin Durant is still in search of his jump shot after struggling through another poor performance from the field.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

    Apparently he's grown an inch?

Someone, please, put him out of his misery and trade him to some place where the coach doesn't hate him.

You always want to "grow" as a player... lol
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Someone is going to have to light a fire under POB's @ss and get him going. Don't get me wrong...I loved having Patrick here at BU and I wish him nothing but the best. And yes, getting away from Don Nelson wouldn't hurt either but... At some point Patrick is going to have to show why he deserves more playing time and why he deserves the chance to be in the NBA. Four points and three rebounds in 15 minutes? These are not the kind of numbers that are going to get him more playing time with ANY coach, let alone Don Nelson. It's time POB started to assert himself and show that he can be productive at this level. It's also time that we stop using Don Nelson as an excuse for POB's lack of playing time. If Patrick puts up the numbers like we know he can, he will make himself a valuable commodity and he will find a home in the NBA.

It seems like this is becoming more and more true. It's true that having Don Nelson as his coach isn't helping Pat's situation but it's getting to the point where he'll have to force his coaches to put him in. Obviously he needs a little help from his teammates getting him the ball, but reading things like that report make it seem like things don't bode well for Pat to have an extended NBA career. I reallly hope things turn around for him, I do, but he's the one thats got to make it happen.

I'd be interested in finding out what criteria the author used for determining "lack of effort"
As a BU player, I thought POB:
Was not an externally emotional player (OK a little more outgoing than Boogie)
Kinda slouched when standing - did not have a very imposing stance unless you were small
Looked to be absolutely winded within the first 60 seconds of playing (Breathing through a wide open mouth)

All of those subjective "appearances" contradicted the actual numbers he put up on the floor. Hopefully those outward signs are not prohibiting his development.

Now if POB is not working as long as the trainer wants, or is walking down the floor instead of running, or not spending the extra practice time the coaches want then too bad for him.
