Matt Roth / Iowa

A guy who claims a credible source on one of the Big Ten boards says Iowa is now pursuing Matt Roth.
They are getting in rather late, but with all the 2-guards Saint Louis already has or have gotten
committments from, I'd have to believe Roth would listen if Iowa called.

The poster calls himself "Rothfactor1" and he has several hundred posts.

I heard this information from a credible second hand source in the business.

I told my source that I was afraid that SLU might get Roth before we offered. He said forget SLU, Iowa now has interest.

It would stink for Illinois if Roth rains threes on us as a Hawkeye."

Wow! I would find this really hard to believe Roth does not have a "Big-10 body". He does, however, fit the Iowa player mold

Several people on the Iowa board have picked up on this and the converation is active.
Many want Lickliter to go hard after Roth.

"Matt Roth is an amazing shooter. I have seen him in two separate aau tournaments and in both he was easily the best around. rontei clarke is probably considered the best marksman in '08, but Roth is in the conversation. This is a big statement, but if Matt Roth comes to Iowa and plays in Lickliter's offense he will get All America votes by his senior year."
