I agree with the coachdude...There is a lot to look forward to...
Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
After seeing some of the guys play, David Collins. There's a ton of potential there and I can't wait to see him throwing down dunks and blocking shots at Carver.
I will say it again (from an earlier thread a month or two ago)... I wanna see Lavin and now Phillips because it means the game is now in hand and all but over.
By year:
2007/8-Rashad Austin-good talent, physically ready to play DI from the start.
2008/9-Will Egolf (it may take him a year to get adjusted, build up his strength)
2009/10 & 2010/11-Anthony Thompson-He needs to work on his strength and bulk but he runs the floor well, can go with either hand and can shoot-I think he will be an outstanding player before he is done. He may surprise us and be a factor in 08/09 but I don't see it next year.
