Well, if the MVC is 'down'... and the MVC's (predicted) worst is (predicted) better than the B10's 9th, 10th and 11th.... Maybe the B10 is 'down' more than the MVC.
Wow! You must have been a math major

Dubl R there already is a Pick-em...and you pick-ed #67!
Seriously, though on the blurb they put about Nebraska, they call Shang Ping a "wing player".
and
Originally posted by beyondthearc14George Washington is predicted to be 9th in the A-10.That means that there are 8 A-10 teams to go.
Just who?? Sure, Xavier, St. Louis, Dayton, Charlotte.
Maybe even UMass and St. Joes, but then you are down to Fordham, Duquesne, Richmond, and Rhode Island.

collegehoopsnet also has a story about lottery picks and where they came from.
Over the past 10 years there have been 133 lottery picks.
102 of them were college players, 31 have been high schoolers, international players, etc.
Of the 102 college players 83 were from the BCS conferences and 19 were from mid-majors.
(One was from Bradley)
Here are some interesting facts....
Of the 13 lottery picks that came from the Big XII over the past decade, only one has become and All Star (Paul Pierce).
Same for the Pac 10, only one out of 12.
And the SEC, only one All Star out of 11 lottery picks.
Of the 19 mid-major lottery picks, 2 have been All Stars (Shawn Marion, Wally Szczerbiak).
The big producers of lottery picks (and All Stars, too) have been the ACC, Big East, and Big Ten.
They have produced 22, 16, and 9 lottery picks respectively
BUT
none of the Big Ten players has been an All Star!

03-04 6-22
04-05 13-16
05-06 16-16
06-07 18-12
So, don't be so quick to discount the Rams or be surprised to see them in the postseason as one of top 3-4 teams in the A10.
Also, some scores you'll want to note from the Rams last year:
Tennessee 78, Fordham 71 (Nashville)
@ Belmont 56, Fordham 49
@ Maryland 79, Fordham 59
Fordham 77, @ Penn 60
@ Texas A&M 87, Fordham 61
They played 4 NCAA non-con teams on the road, and a fifth in their home state. While they only won one of them, they were competitive against Tennessee and Belmont.
Those games have prepared them well for this season.
