Adam Templeton, a 6'6" wing forward from Rapid City, South Dakota Central HS, has transferred from University of California-Irvine. After sitting out a year, he will have 2 years of eligibility left. He averaged 8 points and 4.4 rebounds a game as a sophomore for UCI. He is apparently a walkon.
Note-- 2 years ago when Templeton came out of high school, I recall that he was on the recruiting radar of Jim Les and Bradley. There was never a scholarship offer, and there may not have been real serious interest. His game is similar to Lance Stemler, and he is a good outside shooter, which is probably what the BU coach liked about him.
