  • The Forbes Top 100

Forbes has released its list of the Top 100 celebrities as regards power and earnings capactiy.

Basketball stars make up 4% of the list (Kobe Bryant at #25, Michael Jordan at #26, Shaquille O'Neal at #41,
LeBron James at #46) but it's amazing how many of the top 100 are "pop culture stars"
that are kinda known only to the younger people.

    Other notables:

    Oprah Winfrey at #3
    Dr. Phil at #22 (seriously?)
    Simon Cowell at #29
The entire cast of Desperate Housewives - which I have never watched one millisecond of -- is at #34
Paris Hilton at #56 (right behind Ray Romano and Jodie Foster)
Rick Warren at #60 (I'll bet the people who know who #61 thru 70 are are generally not going to know who #60 is)
Michelle Wie at #74 despite several consecutive horrible outings
Rachael Ray at #81 (she knows a the way to a man's heart...)
Nichole Richie at #95...just goes to show how far you can go with zero brains and no talent.
And Mel Brooks at #93, I thought the guy was retired!

Carson Palmer ahead of Peyton Manning... Alright thats ridiculous, Peyton is the highest paid player in NFL history and has by more the most endorsements of a current NFL player. Really Carson Palmer? And as far as all non sports people on the list... society is in a said state.... Paris Hilton? Dr. Phil? (the fraud.. the man has a doctorate in nutrition... and is in terrible shape and pretends to have authoritative knowledge in counseling... ZERO professional experience in the field) GRRR

Glen Beck actually picked the list, then explained which extremist group was trying to either steal it or blow it up, whichever result fit their respective agendas the best.
