BU recruit Jordan Prosser from Eureka, IL, was attending an Elite Camp at Xavier, and while on campus, he impressed the Xavier coaches and was offered a scholarship. This is a trick that some schools employ to get around this "dead period" of recruiting. They hold "elite camps", but mainly invite the kids they are recruiting, then get to evaluate them and recruit them since they are on campus, when they would be unable to be recruiting them otherwise.

A couple clips from the article- Prosser still mentions Bradley prominantly and repeatedly in the interview--
The latest craze in college basketball recruiting is to hold elite camps. This past weekend Xavier held their second elite camp, and it included many of their top prospects. One of the players who came and impressed the coaches was Jordan Prosser.
Bradley was the first school to offer, with Xavier and Wisconsin recently following suit.
Outside of the two recent offers, Prosser is hearing from numerous other schools. "The Big Ten, and I got something from Clemson yesterday, Bradley's in there, and there are more but I can't think of everyone off the top of my head right now."
