"Ch-ch-changes in the Valley"-- team by team analysis of next year's Valley teams--

Here is the section about Bradley. Interesting that the writer talks about the players Bradley lost that they were "expecting to contribute in 2008", but they list Fears, Jassey, Brown, and Buycks, but fail to mention DeAaron Williams.

Bradley ???‚¬??? Jim Les is ensconced more than ever at his alma mater, especially after the Braves exceeded preseason expectations with an exciting, up-tempo guard-oriented style of play that they rode to the NIT. But just because Les???‚¬?„? stock is high as its ever been doesn???‚¬?„?t mean the Braves didn???‚¬?„?t have their share of challenges.

The Braves lost four players it was expecting to contribute in 2008 ???‚¬??? Jeremy Fears, Ray Brown, Saihou Jassey and Dwight Buycks. Bradley believes it made up for it by signing several highly touted JUCOs.

Perhaps the biggest Bradley challenge is the retirement of assistant coach Chuck Buescher, who was regarded by many Valley observers as the man who helped Les steer Bradley in the right direction after Les???‚¬?„? coaching career started with three sub-.500 seasons. Les made a big splash by hiring former Evansville coach Steve Merfeld to replace Buescher, while promoting Chuck???‚¬?„?s son Eric Buescher to associate head coach.

nice article coach. it is interesting that he failed to mention williams.

i thought the article seemed to make bradley's situation look really bad. if i didn't know a lot more than what was in the article, i'd think bradley would suck next year.

True. If this is the way everyone thinks of BU then it is certainly setting the table for a Jim Les Coach of the Year award

Yeah, if I was a conspiracy theory guy, I would see this as some kind of hidden message that maybe DeAaron Williams will actually qualify and be on the team.
But I don't really think that's the case.

The guy that wrote this is the beat reporter for the Sycamores. He had a blog for most of the year following Indiana State basketball (he missed ten days to cover the Super Bowl). He was honest in his assessment of ISU and gave a lot of praise to Bradley when the Braves beat up the Sycamores in Terre Haute.

I wouldn't read much into the Bradley bit except that there were quite a bit of changes in a one month span.
