  • Missouri Has a New Coach

It is not official, but sources say Mizzou has hired
    Mike Anderson, from UAB.
They also apparently interviewed Dana Altman today.
Former UAB head coach Mike Anderson will be introduced as Missouri's next men's basketball coach at a 4 p.m. ET news conference, ESPN.com has learned.

It looks like with all these coaching changes, there might be a bunch of top recruits changing their minds about where they want to go. Most of the schools changing coaches have some high profile recruits. Some have signed letters of intent, others have not.

Missouri, under Quin Snyder, had 4 committments, including 2 from Redlands Junior College of Oklahoma. Here is an article that says these 2 now are waiting to see if they will keep their committments (it's a subscription article, so I don't know what it says)-

Missouri also has a committment from Keon Lawrence, a shooting guard from New Jersey, and Chris Singletary, a highly rated point guard from a Florida prep school. He is originally from Chicago, and has not yet signed a LOI.

Here is another top point guard who is reconsidering his committment to Indiana now that Mike Davis is gone.

Should Bradley go after some of these kids now that they have some national visibility and have a stable coaching situation?

          Dave Reynolds says:
"Another good sign is reaction from prospects who might want to be Braves. Les said he's received text messages from recruits interested in Bradley."

So clearly BU's run on the national stage has made recruiting a little more interesting.
Let's see what happens next, as April 12 starts the spring signing period.

And that is a good thing for the MVC. I hope they all stay, 1 Benendict Arnold, McDermott, is enough. Let's keep the Valley on the same stage as those BS'ers, I means BCFers.
Having an Altman raises the bar for everybody!

Chris Singletary is still available. This article says he is now fully qualified. He is a very highly rated point guard/shooting guard.--
