  • Sad news about Zach Andrews

I know Zach was a big fan favorite at Bradley and he is probably my favorite kid ever. Zach called me today and informed me that his father passed today.I was just with Zach last night as he played for my summer proam team and he was in such great spirits and in a matter of 12 hours his life is changed forever. If any of the Bradley fans would like to send their wishes in the form of a card feel free to send it to my house at
    Zach Andrews
    c/o Coach Cornelius
    1503 River Oak way
    Roseville, Ca. 95747

I will make sure he receives all cards and letters sent.
Thanks a lot. I know you all mean a lot to him!

Wow. That's really sad to hear. Zach is one of the nicest guys I've come across in my time at Bradley. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

So sorry to hear this. Zach has had more adversity in his short life so far than any of us will have in our entire lives. And now this. Zach is such a strong guy, I'm sure he will oversome this, too.
I would encourage everyone to take a few minutes to send a card to the address above and let him know how much the Bradley fans care about him.

I credit Zach with playing a BIG part of one of the biggest success stories in BU's long and great history.
It hardly needs to be mentioned how BU was sub-.500 for several seasons until Zach arrived, and his talent, enthusiasm, and efforts helped turn Bradley into a strong team, and helped contribute to back-to-back 22 win seasons.
Just like the fine BU players of the past whose energy and effort was contagious (guys like Marcus Pollard, Dwayne Funches, JJ Anderson, etc.) we will never forget Zach, and will always want to hear updates, and provide followups on Zach's career.
God bless you Zach, and may you find peace despite your tragedies.

Thank you for doing this coach, also thanks for the fine young men you are molding. It is nice that we in Peoria have been blessed with a couple and hopefully more to come.
