You know, all the blow-hards screamed over the MVC getting 4 bids that matched the ACC in number of bids. They (the blow-hards) even asked the question of the committee considering the MVC to be equal to the ACC. Course, the pinheads didn't look at the seeds to realize they didn't consider the MVC to be equal to the ACC. ACC got 1, 3, 4 and 10 seeds; the MVC got 7, 10, 11, amd 13 seeds.
The ACC went 4-0 in Round 1. The MVC went 2-2 in Round 1. ACC 4 alive, MVC 2 alive.
The ACC went 2-2 in Round 2. The MVC went 2-0 in Round 2. The ACC 2 alive, the MVC 2 alive.
The ACC went 0-2 in Round 3. The MVC went 0-2 in Round 3. Both conferences missed the Elite 8.
So maybe they WERE about even (with the MVC getting underseeded and underrated). Especially when you look at the MVC's Sweet 16 seeds vs the ACC's seeds: 13 and 7 vs 4 and 1.
