Does anyone think this one has any chance?
I wouldn't be totally surprised if they offer him $3+ mil.
Not if Billy knows what's good for him, it's so much easier to be consistent is college than NBA, in the NBA if your good, you get the worst talent coming in every year and actually have to play a tough schedule, in College BillyD can have top recruits and schedule non-con patsies we can walk all over go .600 in his conference he get a 8 seed in the tournament minimum. BillyD stay where the going is easy... a big school with lots of money.
the only way i could see Billt leaving is if he is just up for a new challenge. I really don't think money is an issue. IMO he should stay because I think it might be an even bigger challenge to try and replace a team that just lost 4 1st round draft picks and try to make Florida have another run at a national title

doubt green will be a first rounder but i agree about BDonavon staying put.
6 million is a huge committment from the Magic. I have no idea how he could turn that down. That paycheck will give him respect and cred with the players in Orlando.
Plus he can always come back to NCAA, no lose situation for BD.
Who will get the Florida job? Would they go with someone young like Anthony Grant of VCU? He was an assistant under Donovan, but there are some other more established head coaches out there that might make sense, too.
Here is an article from the Gainesville, Florida paper. It suggests Anthony Grant and Larry Shyatt are the 2 most logical candidates. But there is also a mention of Tom Crean, Chris Lowery, Xavier coach Sean Miller, and Villanova coach Jay Wright.
The CBS story claims he hasn't singed a contract yet and I think he would have been better off staying at Florida, but this story just cites anonymous sources, so who knows whats what.
Just been watching Sportscenter and Andy Katz is reporting that he did indeed sign a contract and he is trying to return back to Florida. The Orlando Magic are deciding whether or not they are gonna let him out of the signed contract.
