Dan Vandervieren, a 6'10" center from Minnesota, played his freshman season for Matt Painter at Purdue. Illinois State also recruited him and was one of his finalists out of high school in 2006. Some ISU fans had voiced to me that they hoped he would transfer to ISU, but he has transferred to Colorado State.--
