Anyone want to bet now where CB's season tickets will be? He made a point of telling Dave Reynolds that he would stay in town for the season. My guess would be directly behind the bench. Oh, and since, you know, he'll have so much time on his hands, what with being retired and all, I'd also bet he'll spend a few afternoons a week at the good ol' Robertson Memorial.

This may be good. He can still lend his volumes of knowledge without the technical requirements that accompany being an official coach, ie recruiting trips, NCAA BS, etc. Even if he steers clear, you never know who'll be talking in EB's ear over Sunday dinners ...

I was wondering about something and maybe those of you a bit closer to the program can help with the question. Dick Versace of course lives in Canton but how often does he attend practices and how often does he get together with JL and/or staff? Or is he simply an observer who doesnt get to involved with the program?

BTW thanks CB for your time and dedication to our program.

Unless BU wants the NCAA putting an office in Peoria, Dick Versace will not be on the bench.

Wasnt suggesting he return to BU as an assistant, really just wanted to know if he is in "the background" giving advice or is he simply a fan and season ticket holder.

I am sure Jim inquires with him from time to time, but I think he's a lot more of a fan than anything these days. It's really amazing to see how laid back he is compared to how fiery and volatile he was back in the 80's. Always an interesting guy to talk to, that's for sure!

Congratulations on the many years of service to the sport of basketball, Coach Buescher. Thanks for helping to put Bradley basketball back on the map. And I agree, once a brave, always a brave!
