  • Michigan State Top Program in Last 10 Years

According to Andy Katz of ESPN.com.....

In examining the best programs of the past decade, Andy Katz discovered something surprising: The best of all might be Michigan State.

And who's scheduled to appear at Carver Arena next season? Better get your tickets early for this one.....

Is this one of the biggest games ever at Bradley in terms of non-mvc games?

Michigan State is rated #10 in the early, early pre-season poll by Andy Katz of ESPN.com.

With the deadline to declare for the NBA draft passed, Andy Katz takes a look at a fresh Top 25.

I can't remember the last time that BU played a potential top ten team in the non-con in Peoria.....

This could possibly be one of many (fingers crossed) big wins that'll put us over the top next year ... I realllly just want to hand them back the behind kicking we got there last year!

I know I'm jealous. This is a great big-name big time program coming to Carver. It's great for you guys and great for the Valley especially after you guys beat them.
Dinma Odiakosa 6'8 255......The Nigerian Nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 37 points and 27 boards in 2 wins over Bradley. "Will Egolf is 6'9 and he had 4 rebounds. That's not good enough and he's not good enough"....Dick Versace 2/9/10

It's always easier to beat a good team early in the year before they gel, ala DePaul. Unfortunately, we're also now that good team that is looking to gel

Great list but I think you neglected to list the 2ot next to the loss to UNLV (at least I think it was 2ot). A great game and sooo close....

Like I said...hard work and excfellent research by posters like you sure beats digging through posts
about the Cardinals, pro boxing, and polar bears.

                        Thanks T.

Houston, the Media Guide doesn't mention it is an ot game, but I believe ya if you say it is true.

And just in case... Bradley was not in the MVC from the 51-52 season to the 54-55 season (due to events surrounding the Drake/Oklahoma A&M football controversy).

So it appears that 1977 was the last time that BU played a top ten team in the non-con schedule (UNLV). That's a long time between opportunities.....

                          Good research on MMob's part!
