Does anyone else thing that student section should have a name? Red Pride is more of a program that gives students rewards for going to games of every sport. I think it would be nice to have something specifically for basketball. If I am not mistaken, carver crazies was suggested in the past (though we would be accused of stealing from Duke)
I agree completely, but I want something that isn't coach specific also, I love JL, but what if he does great things and gets an offer he can't refuse, etc. I really don't mind the name Red Pride, but I understand it's relation to the program kind of distracts from what we're going for.
Well just to get things started and in an effort to generate ideas, I'll throw out some generic names and maybe we can get things going... Too bad things are so politically correct these days!

Applause to you who are trying to do something special to grow and stimulate the "missing" student section! I'm Class of '71 and have been a season ticket holder/booster since graduation and have obviously seen a steady decline in student support over those years (save a peak here and there). Even last year student support was spotty at best so I again applaud you who are trying to get something going! I'm certainly no Illini fan but what great support the 'orange crush' give their school and team! Wouldn't it be great to showcase that kind of student support all year long and especially when MSU and ISU (Iowa) come to Bradley! I don't think you need a name, I think you need to be there night in and night out and just go non-stop nuts for 40 minutes!
Oh, and two more observations - 1) do students understand that when the 'Bradley Fight Song' is played they're supposed to stand up?; and 2) I sit across from the student section and am getting tired of seeing a bunch of 'stayed' Caterpillar people sitting in the 'student section' - that's nice for revenue and beer sales but not for noise or spirit! Fill it up - even on holidays!

I agree with what you are saying about these guys trying to do something for the student section. I am from the class of '89 and it is nice to see...

I found the old thread that first brought this name up (thank you Vroman Fan), but I don't know how to paste the link here. Someone with more computer skills than me can post it if they'd like.
There is no logo to match the Lesticles that I would wear on a shirt. And I am sure that Coach Les would be thrilled about having his name used like that.

Well Rusty, you've cr@pped all over our attempts to have fun with this, so what's your brilliant suggestion?
