Pep band stuff is established and unlikely to change. Might be worthwhile to document.
Also, the more research you do on the other team the better. I had grudging respect for the ISU fans who yelled "Erika Nelson" at DA.
The one I can't seem to shake didn't take much research (not sure if it was at Wichita or Creighton), but it sure sounded like a good number of people were chanting Haaarrrryyyy----Pootttttteerrrrr everytime JC touched the ball. Not sure how much it affected his play, but it's along the same lines of getting on one player everytime he touches the ball or he's at the line.
Just curious, but there was a home game where the students had a face attached to what looked like popsicle sticks. I can't recall who the opponent was, but does anyone know what that was all about?
I would love to see the student section become consistently bigger and more united!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12
well since we can't have an 'official' mascot, could the student section just paint somebody up each game as an indian warrior running around the stadium?

It was our fair founder, Lydia Moss Bradley, with the addition of a few BU face tattoos. I got ahold of one and Lydia "rode shotgun" (propped up in the window) on the way to St. Louis. It was priceless to see people trying to figure out what it was, and the reaction from other BU fans who recognized it was heartening.

I'm sure! I never got a close enough look at it, but knew it looked like a white-haired lady. For some reason I was thinking it was the opposing coach dressed up as a woman.
I like the idea of the "huge faces" too. Those would be especially nice when the opposing team is shooting ft's.

we should definitely do this but with the faces of some of the opposing team's starters. that would throw a couple of them off while they were shooting free throws. haha, we could put a huge face of eric coleman from UNI up next to a huge face of gary coleman! that would be legendary!
Hey audacious and BUBraves06, are you guys gonna be around this summer? (I have an internship) Maybe we could really start planning this stuff. We can already start putting together some standards, and get stuff on MVC foes, MSU, and VCU.
I will be here, I think it would be good to sit down and start working on some things. Like I said, the coaching staff is all about student participation so I think it would be a good idea to involve them as well somehow.
