Ogirri is going elsewhere-- not yet determined, and also
two of their best incoming recruits are also bolting......
Denzel Bowles and Evann Baker.....have received their release.
Her are a couple of the "reader responses" as printed in the Wichita Eagle:
"Good riddance. Key word here is: 'TEAM'...not a collection of egocentric selfish kids who don't understand that TEAM basketball means working together with your TEAM mates for the common good. It is a PRIVILEDGE to represent your school as an athlete, not the other way around."
"You'll never make it in the NBA losers. Try Europe. They take all the losers from all over there"
"Take your hair, shoes and 9.5 ppg and see ya...better off with somebody who can play defense. As far as Baker and Bowles if you don't want to be here then move on. They won't sign with anybody better than WSU."
Also--- the Shockers' P.J. Couisnard has his name in the NBA draft.......
He'll probably go right behind Shaun Pruitt....
