  • More on NCAA Academic Report and BU

Just a few more details...and feel free to dig and look up stuff yourself, but here are some important areas.....

This is for years 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2005-2006, so it is very current!!

The overall average APR score (detail of how it's determined is in the report, but the top score is 1000)
is 927 in mens basketball for all D-I schools, and here are some other sports' averages.

These are averages for various sports in all D-I
    Mens
    Baseball 934
    Football 931
    Golf 962
    Soccer 052

    Womens
    Basketball 960
    Golf 973
    Soccer 971
    Softball 965

Here are some representative numbers from the Bradley teams.......
    Mens
    Basketball 959 (70+th percentile)
    Baseball 970 (70+th percentile)
Golf 1000 -- one of VERY FEW PERFECT scores in the nation!!! Of course in the 100th percentile
Soccer 990 (a near perfect score) near 100th percentile!!

    Womens basketball 983

ALL are well within the 70-80th percentile and HIGHER!

Here are some representative scores from Illinois State...just for comparison...not for debate or argument, it's just that they are the closest D-I rival to BU.

    Mens
    Basketball 920 (30th percentile)
    Baseball 941 (50th percentile)
    Golf 966 (40th percentile)
    Football 936 (50th percentile)

    Womens basketball 984 (80th percentile)

    How about SIU?
    Mens
    Basketball 935 (50th pct)
    Baseball 921 (70th pct)
    Golf 969 (50th pct)
    Football 947 (70th pct)

    Womens basketball 957 (40th)

    Indiana??
    Mens basketball 890 (10th percentile)

    University of Wisc-Milwaukee
    Mens basketball 916 (30th pct)

And here's the real laugher, I wish the Jayhawk fans would stop by.
Maybe someone post this over there:

    Kansas
    Mens basketball 884 (10th percentile)

anyone want to ask any specifics, and I can help dig them?
The worst basketball score in the Valley belongs to Evansville,
Mens basketball had 891 (10th percentile)

    And Bobby Knight fans...brace yourself!!

Texas Tech Mens basketball 931, only in the 50th percentile!!
So even MORE proof that Bobby Knight DOES NOT do a great job of "graduating kids".

That is not enough proof to tell me Bobby Knight doesn't graduate his kids. He has been known to kick off his star player for not going to class. The man demands discipline, unlike criminals like Kelvin Sampson and Bob Huggins. His players are not hoodlums, and he has spoken out against the NBA's new one-year rule.

Ah...you wish to know the legacy of Bob Huggins

Cincinnati Mens basketball....828..the very lowest in all of D-I basketball!!

In the 1st percentile........the pitts, the absolute bottom dweller......

      Congratulations Bob Huggins!!

you are the very guy this NCAA effort is aimed at!!
