Since it is a pretty dead time in college basketball....how about a little NBA talk?

The Bulls became the very first team in NBA history to vanquish the defending NBA champion team in the first round via a sweep!

The Bulls now move on to the 2nd round series vs. The Pistons.
The Bulls have played the Pistons as well as anyone else has this season, but it'll be tough without home court advantage.

By the way.the way that the Bulls' big men whacked Alonzo Mourning around, it is no wonder 'Zo is considering retirement.

The Bulls' schedule against the Pistons has yet to be announced.

Ben Wallace and Kirk Hinrich have both been named to the NBA All Defense 2nd Team, a nice honor for Hinrich, but some think a little bit of a snub against Wallace, who some feel is one of the best if not the best defensive players in the NBA.

I think that putting Duncan over Wallace is a little bit of a snub. I don't think I would put Kobe on the first team either.

If the Bulls can grab a game in Detroit, I think they can win the series. The winner of the Chicago-Detroit series will be your Eastern Conference Champion...Book it!

The Bulls stuggled with Cleveland during the regular season.....but the playoff Bulls look like a different team then your regualr season Bulls. Really have turned it up a notch.
Haven't seen enough of Detroit or the Cavs to see if they are playing better also.

It ***** that they will most likely not have homecourt advantage from here on out.

Cavs have been underachieving against a team they swept but were without their star players. Cavs shouldn't be too much of a challenge if the Bulls get by Detroit, which they should. Given a win or two in Detroit and the Bulls will take the series.

The one team in the east that I want the Bulls to avoid is New Jersey. I don't think the Bulls match up well with the nets at all.
