Some may notice the board is moving slowly, or you may experience delays when you send Private Mail or try to post a message. The problem is with the server, and we are hoping it will be solved soon.
If you post a message, and the window continues to churn, instead of sending the message again, I suggest opening a separate browser window and check to see if the message got posted. Usually it will post, but the delay is in closing your message window and moving back to the board. If the message was posted OK, you can just close the message window then.
Same with Private Messages-- after you send a PM, if the window continues to churn, open another browser window and go to your message center. Click on the Outbox button, and see if the PM you sent is there. That's where it should be if the party you sent the message to hasn't opened it yet. By the way, until it's opened by the other person, you can still edit or delete the message. After it's read, it will show up if you click on the Sentbox button. If your message is in the Outbox or the Sentbox, you can then close the message window, because the message has been sent properly, even if the window is still churning. This may save aggravation of thinking your message may have been lost or you have to send the message again.
It is always a good idea to highlight and copy the text of messages and posts before clicking the Submit button. That way, if there is an error, you can easily paste the message back into another message window and re-submit. Do this especially if you have spent a significant amount of time on your message.
