  • Golden State wins game 4 to go up 3-1

Golden State barely made the playoffs, and now are 1 game away from upsetting the defending Western Conference champion Dallas Mavericks. The Mavs had one of the best regular season records in NBA history with 67-15, and appeared to be the favorite to make the finals again.

I feel really bad for Mark Cuban.

POB was suited up tonight for the Warriors. I'd love to see him get some time at some point, although it's highly unlikely.

There was a great atmosphere at that game tonight, seemed like a college game.

Patrick was activated, probably just for this game. Josh Powell was not with the team because of a death in the family, but is expected back for Game 5 in Dallas.

Definitely not your typical pro atmosphere.....and the Warriors are feeding off the crowd's enthusiasm.

Miami is already history, and Dallas is within one game of getting bounced in the first round.....amazing!

This is great. I really hope that GS is able to take care of Dallas. IF it does happen this really opens things up for Phoenix, and probably gives Nash another MVP. On the other hand, the Bulls are looking good, and if they have the success they had against Detroit in the regular season I would expect them to win the series against Detroit in 5 or 6 games. Things are looking good for the Bulls!

I think the voting for the MVP takes place before the playoffs?

Yeah it did, my bad. Looks like Nash has the finals MVP then...

                  Yeah

I was talking to my friend DollarBill, a Bradley catcher turned
golf pro from the Kirby Puckett years. Bill believes that the NBA
playing field is evolving and that the Detroit and Miami style is
falling away. He also believes that Dallas is the victim of their
                  own success. Wing81

Dirk should return his MVP if they lose in the first round. Dirk is just a clutch as T-mac and John Starks in the playoffs.
