When will we name a new Asst. Coach? Has anyone heard any names?

I don't blame JL for taking some time with the assistant
coach position. ALL posters on this board realize what a
super-charged, emotional rollercoaster these three weeks
have been. We spent months speculating upcoming game-
day roles of folks that probably won't mail BU a Christmas
card.
Then we would hit the hay early one night only to
have two major announcements blossom before the next
morning.
Then Jim must work through (How do you deal with suc-
cess?) Most would agree that the talent level of recruits
is moving away from "just glad to be here" toward "I've
always been a star". This may take a slightly different,
individual mind-set on both the recruiting and coaching
ends. Last years mantra was "Stick together. Let's get
every last ounce of good play out of the size and ability
that we have". Posters have stated that this years mes-
sage will be decidedly different.
Finally, the advantage to this is that many interested
candidates have already come forward with resumes and
faxes. I believe one poster mentioned (40) the first couple
of days and growing.
Sifting through so many options
could take some time. JMHO.. WingComment

Who knows... maybe Coach can cook up a package deal for a 5 star recruit and hire his High School coach.
