Some more on Theron Wilson (I apologize if this was already posted)...

Article on him making the all-region team. Notice Charlie Coley also on the 1st team, and Wade Knapp and Cassin Diggs on the 2nd team. Great pic of Wilson in action.

Interestingly enough, Wilson only made 2nd team all-conference (along with Wade Knapp), and Charlie Coley made 3rd team. Strange.

A thread on an Illini discussion board talking about how they could use a guy like Wilson and how they should offer him.

    Onward and Upward!

Actually as you can see, this is a game where Theron's Seward Co. team is playing against Barton County. Seward played against Barton three times during the season.
Seward won at their place (Theron had 14 pts, 16 rebs), Barton won at their place (Theron had 16 pts, 7 rebs), and the third time they played was in their Regional Tournament.

As you can see in the above picture......they are playing in a pretty awesome arena, and it is barely filled. This is Koch Arena, in Wichita (the home of the Wichita State Shockers) where the Regional was played.

In that game, Seward lost to Barton, 69-66 and Theron had 10 points, 9 rebs.

Does anyone know what he plays like? It doesn't sound like he has a good outside shot. He must be very energetic though to get so many rebounds. Do you think he plays like Marcus Pollard and Bobby Ford or is more of a driving big guard?

I have never seen him play, but judging by his size and stats, it seems like he would have a game similar to a Lawrence Wright. We certainly could have used a Lawrence Wright on the glass this year.

I hope anyone of our incoming players plays with the heart that Boogie did. I loved watching him. He tried harder than anyone on the court. Has anyone on here see Theron play?

                  Really Good

I am feeling really good about Mr. Wilson. How does he
at 6'5" pull down that many rebounds.?? Maybe major hops?
Would Theron be a 2 or a wing or whatever it takes?? Wing81

Boogie gave other coaches fits because of matchup problems. Wilson sounds similar in that at 6'5" he isn't afraid to play bigger guys down low.

His coach says he plays like he's 6'9......

From his pic he looks strong.
