I do not think that Jim has attempted to build a program around juco's. It's just how the ball rolled.
Had everything worked perfectly between BU and the players, BU would have these additional 4 year players on the roster next year:
POB
XC
Stemler
Buycks
Jassey
Let's not forget we have 3 HS kids coming in Maniscalco, Egolf, and Thompson, in addition to a sophomore 4-year player in Andrew Warren. Ruffin, Crouch, and Singh are also 4-year guys, and POB would have been a senior this year if he had stayed all 4 years. I think this whole 'BU is full of JUCO's' is getting blown out of proportion. On top of that, if they're quality players and people, what the heck does it matter how many JUCO's we have?

Exactly...Lawrence Wright and Zach Andrews fall into that category as well. Has there ever been 4 guys that loved BU and Peoria more than them? I don't think so.
