  • How can you blame the kid?

Oklahoma State guard (who is only 20 years old) was arrested on trying to buy liquor with a false ID.
Oklahoma State guard Terrel Harris was arrested on charges of possession of false identification and obstructing an officer.

But since the recently retired Oklahoma State coach Eddie Sutton was a notorious drinker of epic proportions, and was frequently getting in trouble for being drunk in public and accidents with DUI's, can you really blame the kid for just following his role model?

The apple doesn't fall very far from the tree.

This happens to college kids every year, a number of which very good kids. It even happened to the much-maligned Reggie Hall. I really don't think this is a big deal.

Yeah, I'm not some kind malignant eater of souls... and I drank alcohol before I was 21 (though I never had a fake ID).

I drank and had a fake ID, as did just about everyone I knew. It's a pretty common practice in America's universities.

I went to UW-Green Bay when the drinking age was 18 in Wisconsin so I did not have to resort to such measures. However, I may have, so I cannot say too much about what he did. For the first couple of years in college I was very drinky!
