Ironicaly that was the statement released when he left Ohio... However, I believe that was supported with a death in his immediate family.

but from what was speculated on here it sounds like he had a bad attitude and couldnt get along with coach les. if this is the case then why are we wishing him well? he's turning his back on a team that was counting on him for next year, and recruited as if we were going to have him for the next two years, yes we are guard heavy but it seems we've recruited more the 6 foot pg type. i guess i really hold grudges but why are we wishing him well after this stunt? once again disreguard that last part if this is infact due to family problems.
It IS a family matter and VERY personal. Its very serious also. JL is doing the correct thing. I don't think its as much as JF doesn't want to be here as it is JL CAN'T have the distractions.

Its too bad...I wish JF the best. BU will be fine. Focus on what you (we) have not what we don't.

I am then confused a little Dog, you are stating matter of factly this is a definite family issue. If this is that serious, why is he finishing the semester? And with this being a family matter does that leave the door open for a possible return?

ok i'll take your word for it, and as i stated i take the 'not wishing him well' part back since it is family/personal issues...i'm just a little jumpy with sports, its been a rough few days, the cubs are really dissapointing me and losing games in every possible way, that sox db threw a no-no, now the word on jimmy church and JF...i think me and sports should break up

To personal and serious to specualte.....decent source but I'd feel awful if it wasn't true. I will say that his on court attitude is what has been building and the off court thing broke camels back. I will also say it doesn't sound like HE did anything wrong but is involved and JL is doing the right thing having him handle it. Some things are bigger than basketball.....

As always reader beware. Suffice it to say he's gone and thats all that matters.

              I applaud JL.

This may not entirely be in the theme of the thread, but does this mean we are recruiting 1 or 2 now?

I don't know of any 1 types Bradley is still recruiting for 2007. A couple of the remaining viable 2007 recruits are 2/3 type players.

i was wondering that also...cuz i know earlier in the week coach les was quoted somewhere saying theyre lookign to add one more, i'm assuming he was counting the spot left open from fears leaving before we knew about it, can anyone confirm this is what he was counting on? if so, does this mean DW is for sure on track to graduate and arrive at BU next semester ready to rock the MVC?

Now more than ever I hope DW makes it here and has his head on straight. I don't wanna lose both these big time players that we were counting on next season. AW, time to step up!!

I think the degree of accuracy in the reports on this site has been astounding.
Even though a couple posters seem to think it's irresponsible to talk about anything until it shows up in the
Encyclopedia Brittanica, I think the stuff talked about has been incredibly responsible
and has been accurate enough to qualify BF's as a reference standpoint for accuracy.
Certainly you are more accurate than the rumors on the other board, like statements that Bradley would sign Coley on April 13.

Thanks 99, and I actually agree.
I think the fine people on BradleyFans have stayed miles away from the stupid, unsubstantiated rumors that often appear on other boards.
Most of the reports here aren't rumors at all but observations based on visible evidence, but just
not yet appearing in the news.
Reports like JC's injury, JF's leaving, Charlie Coley's visit, Forrester going to SIU-E, Rashad Austin's visit, and numerous others were all posted here days to weeks before the press found out about them yet they all were proven very accurate.

Here's an example of a silly, unsubstantiated and 2nd hand rumor, the likes of which DO NOT occur here.

Here's one rumor that turned out to be perticularly bad!

This is a great board with mostly facts by good people not people trying to start trouble.
