Creighton gets another commitment for 2008

This is their 2nd 2008 commitment. Previously, 5'11" guard Antoine Young had commited, now guard Josh Jones, another Omaha high schooler verbals to Creighton.

I thought Creighton was already over the scholarship limit and some of the kids who were walkons (Casey Harriman) were promised a scholarship after they completed their redshirt year.
I guess Casey might just have to wait??

After reading the article, he sounds a bit like Matt Roth to me.....good shooter, but needs to work on other facets of his game.

Jones is pledged for 08, not for next year.

Also, not much out there on him at national sites as his dad died right before AAU season last year and he didn't end up playing any AAU ball. Will play AAU with Omaha Crusaders this year with Antoine Young.

Point of interest, Young and Jones are both lefties.
