OK, OK, enough whining. I've got a DC sighting to report.

Went to brunch at Le Peep and we were loitering outside waiting for a table when I saw Kyle Vogt, Eric Buescher (I think) and DC leave. DC is a tall drink of water, and he was already sporting the BU red and white in the form of the ever-popular layered T-shirts. I couldn't tell too much about his build, as this clothes were fashionably oversized.

I could tell I wasn't the only one who recognized him, and he seemed a little aware and surprised of the craning necks. He best get used to it, as it's awfully hard to blend in with your surroundings when you're 7' tall and with two short white guys in wind pants.

The sighting made my day. How long 'til (fingers crossed) Midnight Madness?

It's a shame to hear CC wasn't there with them, maybe JL was giving him the full court press.

My bet is that if CC had been there, I would have had a JL sighting to report too. I bet Mrs. Les was making CC pancakes or the like at the Les homestead. Subsequently, I hope Mrs. Les is a good cook.

Wow! For a minute there I thought DC was Da Coach. I was hoping at least as I know Da Coach might pass on any inside scoop on CC to us

Wonder why he was there with them....if he's signed his LOI isn't he just another one of the boys now? Is there a grace period as far as treating him like a recruit?

Not worried we are breaking rules...just wondering.

For Collins, this is still his "official visit", and is paid for entirely by Bradley. Such official visits are defined by the NCAA and the University is responsible for what goes on and that no illegal activities. I suspect it's standard for BU coaches or personnel to accompany the recruit while he's on the official visit. An unofficial visit is defined as one paid for entirely by the recruit. Then, perhaps the recruit is more likly to be left on their own.

Probably David Collins was with them because he hadn't gotten the full orientation and tour that other recruits received. Even if he's already signed and is one of the boys, any new player should go through the introduction experience such as getting to know the staff better, etc.

Charlie Coley may not have been with David Collins at the time because I bet the coaching staff wants to give them a more personal experience. Coach Les probably spent some one on one time with David, and maybe today is Charlie's turn. That way, neither of them feel as if they are not receiving the full attention of the person they are with. This would be especially important I think with Charlie who is still deciding on a school to join.

This is the only report of CC on campus. Was Gargoyles just speculating that they played or did someone see him? I am starting to wonder if maybe the weather that cancelled Wade K's trip to Missouri State also cancelled Coley's visit. No solid reports of seeing him except Gargoyles.

kinda the oposite of the old cliche...i'm assuming no news is bad news with the CC situation?
COMMIT TO THE INDIAN!!! - denis savard on his blackhawks, but we should adapt this as a bradley slogan.

A solid source informed me of Coley and Collins' basketball games with the team on Friday afternoon.

Yup Coley was here and had a "nice" visit.
Did not commit, but seemed to enjoy his stay!

Really thats about it. He simply had a nice visit, but did not "tip his hand', so to speak.
He obviously does not feel any pressure to commit at this time.
Then of course we have "that" scholarship availability issue.
