  • Evansville Athletic Director resigns- moves to South Florida

Page Not Found (404): It looks like you're lost... The page you are looking for no longer exists.

Bradley's athletics program is recognized as highly successful for a midmajor, private institution similar to Evansville. I would hope for selfish reasons that Evansville doesn't look to raid some of Bradley's experience and talent.

    This Puzzles Me

    Coach,
This puzzles me probably as much as it delights McGillis.
I realize that EU has had a coupla years of good baseball
but I have generally thought of Evansville as the MVC door-
mat for the most part. Wing 81

I would consider that a true statement. Other than baseball, their other sports are mediocre at best. Their soccer teams are decent, but other than that, they just don't have the facilities to keep up with other schools, let alone the Valley. Take this from someone who has been on a visit to play sports at UE. Another part of their problem is that the university simply does not have the name recognition of other schools, or the academic program rankings, although, this may not be a concern for some athletes.

        Still Puzzled

        IB,
South Florida has a football team whose 2nd game on Sept 8 is Auburn. How can an AD at a non-football school land on a job at South Florida? My boyhood friend, Bruce VDV canned Larry Eustacy at Iowa State so I know how incredibly competitive BCS or any AD jobs are.. I wouldn't swap 2 of him for KK, that's for sure.. Wing 81
