Chicago State is still without a coach since Kevin Jones was fired March 13. They certainly seem to be taking their time in selecting a new coach.
Here is a rumor - remember where you heard it first. One of the leading possibilities is Wisconsin assistant coach Howard Moore. Howard was hired by Jim Molinari in 1999 as an administrative assistant for one year. He then served as an assistant coach under Molinari for the 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons. Howard stayed on as assistant coach under Jim Les for 2002-03, then left to take an assistant job at Ball State for 1 year, before moving on to Loyola for 1 year then Wisconsin for the past 2 years. Apparently he is one of Chicago State's final candidates.
