Just killing some time before signing day tomorrow....but this is also an important signing....more for the future recruitment of Braves players! Will he hire someone with previous experience recruiting or will they break-in someone new?

If I were JL, I would take from an assortment of talented Chicago/Chicago suburb high school coaches. These coaches grew up with solid background on fundamentals and ball movement. Not to mention, this may present a great start for many of those high school coaches planning on moving into Div. I basketball programs.Stronger, Faster, Better....than last year?...and do I dare say...The year before that!!???

I voted for a former pro coach. That doesn't necessarily mean the NBA. Jim has a wide network of friends in professional basketball, both in the NBA and CBA/NBDL ranks. I think Jim will probably get an assistant who's got a history of big man development to help get our bigs to the next level (which will take us to the next level in the process).Onward and Upward!

Thanks Big Mike....Well, being the obsessed Bradley fan I am, I want whatever is best for my team. I believe Les will make a great decision, whatever it may be.Stronger, Faster, Better....than last year?...and do I dare say...The year before that!!???

I went for the 'pro' connection - like what BBrave said. I think that is a good route to take.
As for Coach Corn, (as much as I think he would be a great support to the staff) IMO - I think it is best for Bradley if he stays at Yuba. He is providing a pipeline, and Bradley returns the favor with players looking for a JUCO (like XC).

Absolutely.
Rick Malnati is and has been a very good and successful head coach at New Trier HS, but I believe Jim will go after someone like Lennox, in the respect that he needs someone immediately who has lots of experience on the recruiting trail.
Did anyone note that Marty Simmons at Evansville just filled all his assistant slots...
and he hired Ben Wierzba, ex Lewis U. asst.
Rhet Wierzba also works at Evansville, but could possibly be lured from his lower position as Director of operations, and numerous fine D-II and D-III coaches are out there like Rick Herdes (Southern Indiana) and Mike Leaf....maybe they could be luired to work at D-II seeing as how more D-I assistants jump to head coaching spots than D-II guys.
And I also like the idea of Coach Doug Cornelius at Yuba.
