Will Mo leave the midwest and follow, my guess is no way.
Mo got a positive writeup in the Minneapolis press, and they seem to be pressing for keeping him.
"Molinari could help
Smith and Gophers interim coach Jim Molinari competed against each other for four seasons when Smith was coaching Tulsa and Molinari was the head coach at Bradley.
While not committing to hire Molinari or any assistant coach, Smith sang the praises of Molinari on Friday. He complimented Molinari for the good job he did coaching the Gophers after Dan Monson's departure seven games into the past season.
In my opinion, Molinari did one fantastic job under very tough circumstances with the Gophers basketball team. He made a ton of friends on the campus and has the respect of the players who would love to see him retained as an assistant coach.
But Smith is a loyal person, and he isn't going to dump any of his Kentucky assistants unless they are taken care of.
There is no doubt, however, that Molinari would be a big plus for the program."
