**And Bruce Weber is going after him!**

"Penn State joins battle for Jordan

With the letter-of-intent signing period just four days away, the recruiting of Loyola guard Jeff Jordan is heating up.

Penn State, which has signed Jordan's close friend and Ramblers running back Joe Suhey for football, is making a strong push for the 6-foot-2-inch son of Michael Jordan.

"I'm working on him because I'd love to have him come with me," Suhey said.

Suhey is hoping to wear the same No. 32 that his dad, Matt, who later played for the Bears, wore as a Nittany Lion.

Loyola has been at the forefront of Jeff's recruiting the last two years, and he has played well in games at the Gentile Center. Valparaiso is also a leading contender, along with Davidson. In recent weeks
Illinois and Northwestern have talked to Jordan about being a preferred walk-on.

Loyola is close on another top recruit, 6-4 Conant guard Geoff McCammon???‚¬???the fastest-rising prospect in the senior class. McCammon is scheduled to visit Eastern Kentucky over the weekend and could make a decision by Monday."
