UNI to play in World University Games in Thailand

Northern Iowa's basketball program will become Team USA this summer.
The Panthers have been chosen to represent the United States at the World University Games, Aug. 7-18, in Bangkok, Thailand.

In the past, USA Basketball has sent an all-star team of collegians to compete in the event. This year, USA Basketball decided not to organize a team.

Here's a story on UNI getting ready to go as a team and play at the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand.
They will have to learn something new, as they will be playing with a 24 second clock!

The USA's alltime record in World University Games is 125-7 and our squad has won 55 of the last 56 games.
