It definitely looks like there could be some potential. Once the staff gets their hands on this kid he could easily be the most dominant center in the league. It also looks like he'll be able to match up against Egolf and Thompson and definitely help in their development. I'd say from the looks of it we're getting a pretty quality player in the middle, although only time can tell. But... if these pictures tell any sort of story.... we might be in for something big.

I think I am liking this kid a little more after seeing those pics.
That 3rd picture looks like the kid has an amazingly good vertical jump for a 7 footer.
Hoopmasters now has an article up--
Here is the article on David Collins (it requires a subscription)--
For those that can't get the story, Hoopmasters' Van Coleman reports that he has talked to David Collins' coach at Missouri State-West Plains CC Brian Osterman. Osterman reports that Collins decided last night to commit to Bradley, and that he is anxious to sign his LOI. He likes the way Bradley coach Jim Les recruited him and made him feel wanted. Collins runs the court well and is an excellent passer.

Agree DaCoach. Those pics show some real springs! I kinda selfishly hope SIU-E doesn't manage to hire Forrester so he can work with David and the other incoming bigs.

The pictures show he can run the floor, finish the break, and elevate. Those are all perfect qualities to play the pivot in our system. If you take a hard look at the stats, he played a little over half the game (10 guys play between 18-25 minutes on their team, so playing time is well distributed), and in 22 minutes a game averaged 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Extrapolate that out to 30 minutes a game, and he's averaging a double-double. He led his team in rebounding and blocks, even after being slowed the 1st half the season with a broken leg. This guy is going to be just what the doctor ordered.
Keep in mind...HE'S 7 FEET TALL!Onward and Upward!

wow, he's got ups, that's for sure, a couple of the pics look like he's scoring on a fast break, and the one with the other team all around him looks like it got passed to him in the post. This is exciting. I can't wait for next season.Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford
Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.
