Over the past several weeks there have been numerous people, message board posts, and even some of the recruiting gurus who said Matt Roth would commit early, likely just after the high school season ended.
Here is but one example-
But he is now gearing up for his AAU play and no signs yet of making a verbal committment, although a lot of sources keep reporting that Bradley is the frontrunner or one of the frontrunners.
Here is a new premium/subscription article on the Indiana Elite AAU team that Matt is playing for, and I will give only a couple excepts...if you want to know more, PM me and give me your e mail address unless you already have the article.

One team likely to receive a lot of Hoosier staff scouting attention this month is the Team Indiana squad that is part of the Indiana Elite program. A year ago this team took home many national tourney titles playing in the 16 & under age group and with all its key stars back plus the addition of some talented newcomers, this squad could challenge for the top traveling team nationwide.
"We only lost one game last July ...
The highest ranked player nationally on Adams' roster is 6-foot-6 combo forward Emmanuel Negedu. The Nigerian native is ranked #29 in the Rivals150 for the Class of 2008.
7-foot-0 Beas Hamga from Decatur (Ill.) Christian
6-foot-11 Tyler Zeller from Washington (HS), Indiana. ...
Hamga is the #32 player in the '08 Rivals 150 and is a shot blocking extraordinaire who is beginning to find his offensive game. Zeller is ranked #105 in that junior class ...
Both Hamga and Zeller have reported Indiana scholarship offers.
"Lewis Jackson is again playing with us but he is probably going to miss the first tournament because they are putting a splint on his wrist so that it can finally get healed," said Adams. "He hurt it two falls ago and is such a gym rat and always plays. They have just never had it immobilized so it could heal"
Jackson is being pursued hard by Indiana and other Big Ten programs. (AND Bradley)
He will share point responsibilities with a player already ticketed to play for Big Ten champion Ohio State.
"We have Matt Roth who made 143 three-points this year for his high school team," said Adams. "He shot that many threes and made 48% of them. He is the best shooter in the class."
Roth hails from Washington Community High in Metamora, Illinois, a town a little northeast of Peoria."
I think I'll send the author a message, that Matt Roth is NOT from Metamora, and he needs a little refresher on his geography.
