They have Mississippi State at # 17 and they include UConn despite the big changes there.
Not sure if the entire starting five leaves, whether putting Florida at #1 is sensible.

We're only a week through the 2007 Big Dance.. but its never too early to start thinking about next year's Tournament. Here's an early projection of the 2008 NCAA Tournament field:
Big East (8 ) - Louisville - (DePaul, Marquette, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Providence, UCONN, West Virginia)**
Pac-10 (6) - UCLA - (Arizona, Stanford, USC, Washington, Washington State)
SEC (6) - Kentucky - (Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee)
ACC - UNC (5) - (Clemson, Duke, Georgia Tech, NC State)
Big 12 (4) - Kansas - (Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas)
Big Ten (4) - Ohio State - (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan State)

Looks like the PAC-10 is expected to be just as strong next season.
Also, our games against Michigan State and Butler will be huge!

Well, this could definitely change.......
Now it appears that maybe Kansas will be losing almost as much of their returning talent as Florida is.
Brandon Rush is leaning toward declaring for the NBA,
and now Julian Wright is going to do the same thing.
Self, Wright to hold press conference at 4 p.m.Kansas University men's basketball coach Bill Self and sophomore Julian Wright will hold a 4 p.m. press conference today in Hadl Auditorium to address Wright's future.
There is also rumor of Sherron Collins leaving.

They have precious few mid-majors anywhere in sight.

The rumor is growing....
Now on the KU premium board, there is discussion of a rumor about Sherron Collins transferring to DePaul, in order to be closer to his children.
It is, of course, all unconfirmed, but if it is true, then would KU be anywhere near the same with 3 starters gone?
